Originaire de Los Angeles, Ana Iwataki a participé aux projets tels que Bas Jan Ader: Between Laughter and Tears, Ceci n’est pas: Art Between France and LA, Civic Virtue: The Impact of the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery and the Watts Towers Art Center dans le cadre de Getty Pacific Standard Time et Paris Chez Vous! / Los Angeles At Your Home! Pour Courtesy Paris, elle a organisé l’exposition collective The Space Between Us. En 2014, elle a travaillé sur le livre de la Chalet Society Jim Shaw. The Hidden World. Dans le cadre du collectif curatorial Agency, elle a co-organisé l’exposition La photographie performe : The Body and the Archive au Centre Photographique d’Ile-de-France. En janvier 2015, elle a organisé une exposition pop-up dans un camion Uhaul à Echo Park Lake, Los Angeles. Elle travaille actuellement en tant que commissaire à Shanaynay et commissaire associée et responsable de la galerie Mayeur Projects.
