Karin Schlageter (* 1988, FR-CH) is an independent exhibition curator. She graduated in 2011 of the Master in Arts and Languages at EHESS, Paris. In 2013-2014, she took part in the residency program Le Pavillon Neuflize OBC at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. In addition to her curatorial work, she has worked in several contemporary art galleries, among others: Mehdi Chouakri, Berlin, Samy Abraham, Paris, and Bugada & Cargnel, Paris. From 2017 to 2019, she collaborates regularly with the CACC – Chanot Center for contemporary art, Clamart. She was a member of the editorial board of French cultural studies journal Poli-politique de l’image from 2010 to 2018. In 2019, she took over as interim director of Les Capucins contemporary art center in Embrun. Most recently, she was awarded the Villa Kujoyama Residency Program in Kyoto (2021-2022) and a Cnap research grant along with a six-month residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris (2020-2021).
