Margaux Bonopera has been an independent curator and head of exhibitions at the Vincent Van Gogh Foundation in Arles since 2018. A graduate of the École du Louvre in Paris (2014) and holder of a master’s degree in curating from the Royal College of Art in London (2017), she has worked with cultural structures such as the Fondation Carmignac, the Sultana Arles-Paris gallery, Mécènes du Sud Montpellier-Sète-Béziers, ESBAN Nîmes and the CAPC in Bordeaux. She regularly writes critical texts for artists, galleries and institutions. In 2024, she was curator-in-residence with Jean-Baptiste Carobolante at the Maison Populaire in Montreuil for the KUTSCH cycle, which looked at questions of spectrality in art. In summer 2025 she will be co-curating the exhibition of graduates from the Art, Gender and Nature Institute in Basel, alongside Chus Martinez.
