Exhibition curator, lecturer-researcher and visual artist. His work takes place in the territory where the life of images and the exercise of thought intersect. Halfway between iconological analysis and ideological criticism, he is interested in the processes of production, exhibition devices and modes of subjectivation which, in the context of the capitalist world system, operate in the field of photography and contemporary art. He holds a PhD in artistic research from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d’Arles (ENSP) and Aix-Marseille University (AMU), a Master’s degree in contemporary Latin American photography from the Centro de la Imagen and aMaster’s degree in philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University (Peru). In 2024, he curated the Peruvian Pavilion at the Venice Art Biennale and, in 2025, he was awarded a research and creation grant from the Institut pour la Photographie in Lille. He is currently a lecturer and researcher (ATER) in the Department of Visual Arts at Aix-Marseille University.
