The Thalia Foundation and the Evens Foundation are calling for a research and production residency for the period 2019-2020.
The call is for a pair between a visual artist and a writer, who is invited to propose a project together that makes a prospective reflection on the challenges facing Europe today. The artist-writer binomial must be existing or formed specifically for the call.
Research topics may include, but are not limited to:
• Identities and feelings of belonging in contemporary Europe.
• Resurgence of nationalisms and redefinition of borders.
• New forms of political communities and solidarities.
