Trained in political science and modern literature, Pierre-Antoine Lalande has held positions in communications and patronage at institutions including KADIST, the Maison Européenne de la Photographie and the Fondation Giacometti. He now develops exhibition projects independently, following collaborations with various spaces such as artist-run space Julio, Galerie Sultana and Chapelle XIV. His curatorial practice focuses on contemporary forms of storytelling, collective memory and minoritized narratives. It explores how artworks shape perception and reassemble absent or fragmented histories. His work also engages with the relationships between art, language and politics, as well as the impact of digital technologies on the production and circulation of images. Alongside his curatorial work, he contributes to the digital projects of Theatrum Mundi, a research centre dedicated to the intersections between urbanism and artistic practices, and the Sahab Museum, a Palestinian virtual museum initiated by the Hawaf collective. He is also a journalist and writes for the magazine Mouvement. In 2026, he joined the curatorial team of the Fotofestival Lenzburg and is in charge of the Showroom at Art-o-rama as part of the Prix Région Sud Art.
