Emmanuel Reiatua C. is an exhibition curator and head of artistic production and residencies at the Abbaye de Maubuisson, a contemporary art venue operated by the Val-d’Oise Departmental Council. He is also co-artistic director of a series of exhibitions he is developing through 2027 alongside Marie Ménestrier, the site’s director, linking the venue’s DNA and history to contemporary artistic practices informed by current societal experiences and questions. As an exhibition curator and art writer, he is a member of the French Association of Exhibition Curators (CEA) and an elected member of the Board of Administrators of Tram, a network of contemporary art venues in the Île-de-France region. He is dedicated to writing, supporting, and conveying artists’ perspectives through a body of solo and group exhibitions focused on the emergence of new practices in the field of contemporary creation. By experimenting with innovative formats, he encourages new artistic approaches linked to current societal themes, regularly collaborating with national and international institutions such as the Wallonia-Brussels Center in Paris, the ZKM – Zentrum für Kunst und Medien in Karlsruhe, Le Fresnoy – National Studio for Contemporary Arts in Tourcoing, the Forum d’art contemporain – Casino in Luxembourg, and the Biennale internationale Bains Numériques in Enghien-les-Bains.
