Ekaterina Skorokhodova is an independent curator and doctoral researcher working on the intersection of contemporary art, politics, gender theory and aesthetics. She studied in the 1st Session (2018-2020) of the international interdisciplinary academic program MA Curating at Aarhus University in Denmark. She is currently a PhD candidate in art history at Paris-Nanterre University in France with codirection at University of Applied Arts Vienna in Austria. The title of her PhD dissertation is Four female or feminist strategies in Swedish photography 1970-2000: Agneta Ekman, Eva Klasson, Tuija Lindström and Annika van Hausswolff. As an independent curator, she develops exhibition projects with a steady emphasis on emerging female artists.
