Camille de Sancy (born 1996, based in Paris) is an independent curator and writer. As a curator and ceramic designer, she has curated exhibitions, published texts in Revue Point Contemporain, and collaborated with women chefs. Her research explores contemporary feminist and ecological concerns. Drawing inspiration from the Bauhaus legacy, at the intersection of decorative arts and contemporary art, she favors transdisciplinary curatorial formats rooted in reflections on collectivity and the commons. She approaches the domestic sphere as a political space, shedding light on feminist legacies, power relations, situated knowledges, and forms of creation long relegated to the margins. In parallel, she draws on the concept of the Symbiocene and study Emanuele Coccia and Bruno Latour to explore an ecology of interdependence. She examines possibilities for repairing our relationship with the living world through hybrid, collaborative, and transdisciplinary practices, conceiving the curatorial space as a site of co-creation and metamorphosis. Co-founder of Maison Sœurs (2023–2025), an itinerant curatorial platform and association articulating contemporary art and culinary practices, she has been strongly committed to promoting the visibility of women artists. Within this framework, she curated exhibitions bringing together poetic works that question our relationship to society and the world around us. She holds degrees from Sorbonne University in Art History and from Université Paris 8 in Photography and Contemporary Art, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Production and Mediation from IESA in 2018.
