Clément Thibault is the artistic director of Le Cube (a digital creation center in Issy-les-Moulineaux), an author of exhibitions and an art writer – member of AICA, Jeunes Critiques d’art and C-E-A. After studying art history and cultural management, he was assistant curator to Laurence Dreyfus, then editor-in-chief of Art Media Agency (AMA) for two years. He has contributed to a dozen books, including exhibition catalogs by Pascal Convert (Chaumont-sur-Loire), Hilary Dymond (Centre d’art Campredon), Fred Forest (Fred Forest au Centre Pompidou, éditions Première Partie) or the monographs of Wahib Chehata (Ut Pictura, Hemeria editions), Vladimir Skoda (Art Absolument editions), Yosra Mojtahedi (adagp), or the post-face of the third edition of My Google Search History by Albertine Meunier. He has curated a dozen exhibitions, in France and abroad, mainly on the social impacts of new media (Deus ex Machina (Soissons museums), the_ogre.net (Suzanne Tarasiève gallery) or IA, qui es-tu? with the Cube…). Clément Thibault teaches art history in schools (ICART, IESA, EAC), has taught at ICAN (2017-2018, “History & philosophy of video games”), at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (“Theory and practice of curating” since 2022), and has led workshops on the relationship between art and technology (Ecole 42). He has been nominated for the AICA Art Critic Award (2019), member of the jury of the Salon de Montrouge (2020), and winner (Prix du Public) of the Dauphine Prize for Contemporary Art, in tandem with Guillaume Bouisset (2020).
