Claire Migraine is an exhibition curator and production manager. She is interested in artistic and co-production practices that propose new forms of political action and social critique, aimed at transforming the world rather than representing it, with a specific focus on works and research that interact with contemporary society and the public space.
Since 2011, Claire Migraine has been artistic director of the Nice-based association thankyouforcoming (a member of the Arts en résidence network), which coordinates the ACROSS programme of critical and curatorial residencies and mediates the ‘New Patrons’ protocol in the south of France, as an associate member of the Société des Nouveaux Commanditaires.
Since 2023, she has been working on the creation and implementation of the artistic and scientific project for La Gaya Scienza, a new space for artistic and poetic exploration in Nice (opening autumn 2023).
From September 2023, Claire Migraine will join the école supérieure d’arts et médias de Caen/Cherbourg as Head of Studies.
