Lives and works in Zürich, Paris and Milan
Independent curator and artistic coordinator, Francesca di Nardo is former Director of the Artist Residency Programme and curator of the Dena Foundation for Contemporary Art in Paris (2006/2011). She got her first degree in Italian Literature – History of Contemporary Art in 2003 and a second degree in Sciences of Cultural Heritage – Cinema in 2005 at the University of Milan. In 2005 she received an MA in Curatorial Practice at the Fine Arts Academy of Brera in Milan and in 2006 she won a scholarship from the Dena Foundation. As an independent curator she worked in France, Italy, Belgium and Holland. She is lecturer at NABA in Milan (until 2011) and at IED (European Institute for Design) in History of Exhibitions and Exhibition Design. She is contributor for international magazines and catalogues and editorial coordinator for artist book (Ryan Gander, Renata Lucas, Chiara Fumai).
