Born in 1977 in Paris (France)
Nicolas Audureau works as a curator of regional projects for the contemporary art department of the Pushkin Museum (Moscow, Russia), former NCCA network. As such, he supports contemporary art et young creation in the various krais and oblasts of the Russian Federation and questions the centralization of culture in a transcontinental country. He was a previous director of le CAP Art center (Saint-Fons, France) from 2016 to 2022. As a PhD student, he conducted a research on Moscow conceptualism and the notion of time in the work of Andrej Monastyrskij. Author of exhibitions and catalogs, he questions the place of contemporary artist in social spaces and the role of art in overcoming the impasses of history.
Curator of regional projects in the various republics, krais and oblasts of the Russian Federation of the Contemporary Art Department of the Pushkin Museum, former network of National Centres of Contemporary Art.
