Alexia Abed (1993) is an independent researcher, critic and curator.
Her projects are conceived as tools for reflection on art in its political, ecological and social contexts. Since 2022, she has initiated a cycle of exhibitions around the elements, illustrating the impact of eco-anxiety on our generation and the narratives it produces. Refusing to speak from above, she attempts to co-create alternative models and narratives. This work favors methods of pooling our vulnerabilities and imaginaries linked to what lies beneath.
She is vice-president of Jeunes Critiques d’Art, a member of AICA, coordinator of Contemporaines and co-founder of the Mastic collective.
