Launch of the legal study with Agnès Tricoire, lawyer, specialist in copyright, on the status of the curator.
To this day, exhibition curators have no social and fiscal status to carry out their activity, despite the existence of ever-increasing training courses and the increasing use of their skills by broadcasting organizations. Since its creation, one of the main missions of C-E-A is to remedy this lack by professionalising the activity of curator. To this end, the association approached Agnès Tricoire, which was asked for a first study entitled “Reflection on drafts of curators’ contracts”, based on 1 / a given job description by CEA describing the standard activities of the exhibition curator, 2 / copyright provisions and 3 / case law.
